SF&Howler's "Mad As Hell" charted in 2007 and the album "Howl At The Blues" stayed on the charts for 10 months. Some of the lost backup vocals and drum tracks have been found and included in this remix. Topical as it was 10 years ago, this song addresses the anger many feel over the way big business and the government treats regular citizens.
Stephen Foster & Howler have made themselves a name in the last 17 years, charting regularly with songs like "The Mighty Field of Vision Anthem" - "Mad As Hell" - "Mama's Goin' Dancin' When The Train Comes Home" - "50 Feet From A Mango Tree" - "Cathead Blues" "Tied Up In The Blues" - plus 6 charted albums, and picking up CMA/AMA/MSMA nominations, while the '01 release "The Mighty Field of Vision Anthem" racked up 1,100,000+ downloads.
"Boogie-Woogie & Blues" is a return to SF&Howler's roots, featuring new Boogie & heavy Blues tracks, plus some songs from our past that never made an album roster, some of which charted and played out on international radio. Players: Jay Jernigan on Guitars, with the band for 10 years; J.R. Byrd & William (DelRay) Smith on Bass; John Tombyll, Dale Spencer and Evan Lane on Drums; Stephen on Vocals, Keys, and Guitars. |
